Regina DiMedio Marrazza

Regina Di Medio Marrazza, has had a multi-faceted career as a solo and collaborative pianist, accompanist, teacher, community arts administrator and Special Projects/Leadership Coordinator.

As a solo pianist, she has performed with the Philadelphia Orchestra at the Academy of Music and at the Mann Music Center as a three-time winner of the Young Artist Competition. She also has performed with the Bordeaux Symphony at the Ravel Academy in St. Jean De Luz, France. 

As a collaborative pianist, Ms. Di Medio Marrazza has played with her sister Annette in engagements with the Philadelphia Orchestra under the baton of the late-conductors Arthur Fiedler and William Smith.  The duo-piano team has also performed with the Orchestra 2001, the Swarthmore College Orchestra, Bryn Mawr College Orchestra, the Trenton Symphony and the University of the Arts Orchestra in Philadelphia.  Other joint appearances include the State of the Arts Concert Series at the State Department, and the Philadelphia Museum of Art.

As an accompanist, Ms. Di Medio Marrazza performed the Placido Domingo PBS vocal masterclass, in addition to programs with members of the Philadelphia Orchestra in recital, including David Arben, Philip Kates, and Mason Jones.  In 2011, she performed with flutist, Robert Cart at Carnegie Hall, and since then has performed as Marrazza-Cart Duo at venues in Philadelphia and throughout the east coast. 

As arts administrator, she was Assistant Dean and Director of Levine's Maryland Campus for 17 years.  She was a faculty member of Levine's piano department for the past 15 years and was adjunct professor at the University of the District of Columbia.   She maintained a robust piano studio while working as accompanist-in-residence/adjunct faculty at The American University in Washington, DC.  She was as a staff/faculty member at the Duke Ellington School of the Arts. In 2009, Ms. DiMedio Marrazza founded and directed Rowan Prep, a community music at Rowan University’s College of Performing Arts, building the student body to over 300 students and 30 faculty, with a strong curriculum and outreach programs.  After returning to the Washington, DC area, she was Executive Director of Young Artists of America (YAA) at Strathmore for two years.  Since 2017, she has been Special Projects Coordinator at ACES Montgomery College, with her focus on building a leadership program (ACES Ambassador Leadership Program), and ACES Arts & Culture program.

Ms. Di Medio Marrazza received her B.M. in piano from the Philadelphia College of the Performing Arts and her M.M. in Chamber Music and Accompanying from The Catholic University of America in Washington, D.C.
